Speaker's Bureau

The Sisters of Saint Benedict wish to share their knowledge with others. Through a Speakers’ Bureau, the Sisters provide informative and educational presentations on a variety of topics to civic groups, non-profit and community organizations. Who are the speakers?

The speakers are members of the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph, Minn. They are authors, spiritual directors, missionaries, historians, teachers, artists, musicians, theologians, and more. The women of Saint Benedict’s Monastery seek to share their experience learned through the years with the greater community.


What is the format?

Presentations may vary based on the individual interests and educational goals of the audience. Topics are covered in 45-60 minutes and include opportunities for audience participation and/or discussion.

What are the topics?

Following is a list of topics we offer by specialty. If there is an interest in topics not found here, every effort will be made to locate a speaker. All presentations are designed to address the audience’s specific needs and to provide practical “take-home” information. Note: some topics may be listed in multiple categories.
