The Sisters welcome volunteers to assist them with their monastery services. Following are some of the opportunities available for volunteering:
- Lawn care and garden partners
- Sewing (minor alterations and repairs)
- Hair care
- Hospitality for special events
- Clerical and mailing assistance
- Assistance at artisans sales and at Whitby Gift Shop
- Hospitality greeter at the Art and Heritage Place
- Nutrition counselor
- Drivers (including "Easy-Go" golf cart)

In addition, the Sisters need volunteers at Saint Scholastica Convent, their retirement and health care center in St. Cloud, Minn. Child visitors are welcome and encouraged. Following are some of the opportunities available at Saint Scholastica:
- Visiting with the Sisters
- Sharing musical talents
- Reading to Sisters
- Playing a variety of games
- Animal therapy
- Plant care
- Gardening
- Assisting at meals
