Sophia Program: Ministering to Ministers

The Sophia Program creates a life-giving network for women in church ministry that focuses on the need for on-going spiritual support and formation. It is a way to partner with women who serve in parish ministry, provide pastoral care and administration, education or working with faith formation and enrichment in local churches.

Women make significant contributions to ecclesial ministry. They bring special and unique gifts to their churches, which brings blessings and burdens in their work.

The Sophia Program

creates a safe and supportive environment for women to experience spiritual companionship
in order to deepen their relationships with God, the persons whom they serve and with whom they collaborate in service.
in order to process the experience of ministry as it relates to
to their own spiritual growth,
in order to be present to those they serve in their ministry and those with whom they collaborate in service.
